Chronology of the popes.

Etching and engraving, 59,8 x 35,5 cm, Latin title at top: "CHRONOLOGIA ROMANORUM PONTIFICUM / A S. PETRO AD SECULUM XVIII", Latin text in lower margin and throughout print (light foxing, few sm. tears on edges).

Hinged at left edges. Good impression with wide margins.

Large rose with Christ at centre. On the petals around him a list of all popes from St Peter to Pope Pius VI (1717-1799). On the leaves at bottom several Bible citations and antipopes. Dedicated to Cardinal Giovanni Battista Rezzonico (1740-1785), nephew of Pope Clement XIII (1693-1769).
