Good condition. The lines are inked to appreciate the compositions. In a mod. custom-made leather box (joint split), including later impressions of all plates (except Lieure 1300, 1305) formerly used as wrapping paper. Rare copperplates.

Extraordinary set of 11 copperplates (of 16) for a series of contemporary copies after Jacques Callot's large series on Jesus, Mary and the Apostles (cf. Lieure 1297-1312). Includes the plates for copies after Lieure 1298-1305, 1307-1308, 1311. The copies have the same dimensions and orientation as the original series. Since most of Callot's copperplates are now in the collection of the Musée lorrain in Nancy, this is a rare opportunity to acquire contemporary matrices after Callot's designs.
