Later ed. (1st 1837-1845) of this important dictionary of zoology, botany and mineralogy by the Belgian naturalist A. Drapiez (1778-1856). Ill. with 202 plates, of which 199 hand-coloured and some partly heightened with Arabic gum. Vignettes fig. animals (repeated) on titles.
