Contemp. sheep, gilt title on gilt-orn. spines with 5 raised bands (head and tail of both vol. sl. damaged).
First part in second edition, second part in first edition. Dutch trsl. of the anonymous "Centifolium stultorum [...] oder Huntert Ausbündige Narren" (Wien 1709), attributed to the Augustinian baroque author Abraham a Sancta Clara (Ulrich Megerle, 1644-1709). This moralizing work denounces 50 human failings in a satiric way. 2 Engr. ill. front. and 50 "fools". Titles in red & black.
