Engraving, 43,5 x 31,7 cm (visible), laid paper, signed in lower margin at bottom: "P. P. Rubbens. pinxit. Joan. Witdoeck. sculpsit. Antverpiae.", address at bottom centre: "Franciscus Vanden Wijngaerde excud.", Latin text and dated 1639 in lower margin (browned, few sm. light stains).

Under passe-partout and frame (not studied outside frame).

Engraved in 1639 in reverse after the painting in Bordeaux (Musée des Beaux-Arts, inv. Bx E 455). The print is dedicated to Balthasar Moretus (1574-1641), who commissioned the original painting. 2nd state with the address of Frans van den Wijngaerde (1614-1679).
