Painting, oil on canvas, 48,5 x 56 cm, monogrammed "A.W." and dated (crackled and grimy surface, min. lacks in one portrait).

One of the two boys, Jacques (1860-1923), later became the famous Belgian Art Nouveau bookbinder. Weckesser (Winterthur 1821-1899 Rome) was a Swiss painter, known primarily for history paintings.
