Engraving, 29,7 x 21,7 cm (visible), laid paper, numbered 1 and signed at bottom right: "M. D. Vos Inventor / A. Collaert fecit", Latin text in lower margin (sm. tears at top left and bottom centre).
Underlaid, with sm. strips on edges. Mounted at upper edge, under passe-partout.
N. 1 from the series "The seven planets", associated with the seven ages of man. This print depicts the moon and infancy, accompanied by Charity.
