29 engravings, ca. 15,1 x 18,3 cm, laid paper with watermark (jug), several with address: "Thomas de Leu. excu." and signature: "Carel. Van. bockel. f", all with serial mark 2 at bottom right and Latin text in lower margin, all but title plate numbered 1-29 (few mostly marginal stains).
Traces of former binding at left edge. Good impressions with wide margins.
Almost complete series (without n. 26) of hermit saints, published by the Flemish Thomas de Leu (1555-1612) who was mainly active in Paris. Copies in reverse after the engravings by Johannes I and Raphael I Sadeler after Maarten de Vos.
