Third edition of a history of the Low Countries in Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages by the Ghent patrician M. van Vaernewijck (1518-1569). Woodcuts: title within nice woodcut border, printer's mark on title and numerous sm. ill. in text (some of them from the 1568 & 1574 ed.). Loosely added: large engr. arms Marcus van Vaernewijck (18,5 x 12,7 cm), later laid paper.
