Later edition (1st 1771) of this horticultural treatise by the French ecclesiastic horticulturist J.-R. Schabol (1690-1789). Ill. with an engr. front.-portr. of Schabol by V. Vangelisty after J. Robert and 5 fold. engr. pl. by J. Robert. Schabol was in particular interested in fruit trees. In this work a series of short treatises on gardening in general, peach growing, shelters, trellises, pruning of fruit trees, orange tree growing, cauliflowers, cardoons, melons, etc., as well as strawberries and the cultivation of grapevines, etc.
