16th-c. blind-tooled pigskin over wood, edges bevelled inside, spine on 4 raised bands with old paper title label, metal clasps and catches. Nice copy.

1. Postincunable ed. of a collection of sermons by (pseudo-)Augustine. Addressed to monks, their focus on practical virtues no doubt contributed to their popularity. Woodcut mark on title.
