Very rare edition of this book engraved throughout by Beaublé, by "maître-écrivain" G. Montfort (1759-1802). It gives advice on the writing position, the speed of writing, alphabets, writing exercises, advice to writers with "mains foibles et tremblantes", "grosses et courtes" and "fort longues"... Ill. with 3 images "position du corps 'en écrivant", "position des femmes en écrivant" and "les principes sur la taille de la plume". Ref. Not in Bn-Opale plus. - Cp.
