Contemp. marbled calf, spine with 5 raised bands (sl. rubbed). Good copy.

First edition, ill. with an armorial engr. vign. at dedication, 1 engr. folding map and 5 engr. pl. showing mostly elaborate pulpits. The work treats the artistic heritage in the churches of Brussels, Leuven, Mechelen, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, etc., but also Mons, Tournai, Diksmuide, etc. Title in red and black.
