Letters : 1. Joachim, Amalie (1839-1899) - Letter to Prof. Ernst Rudorff. [Berlin], 6th March [1872]. Stamped envel. cons. Amalie Schneeweiss, Austrian-German contralto, was the wife of the great violinist Joseph Joachim, and a friend of Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms, with whom she made international tours. Her correspondent was a composer and a piano teacher at the Berlin Hochschule.-- 2. Auerbach, Berthold (1812-1882) - Letter. Kurhaus Tarasp (Swiss), 26th July 1872. Lithogr. view of the Grand Hotel. German-Jewish poet and author. Countersigned by his friend Johann Czermak (1828-1873), Austrian-German physiologist, member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.-- 3. Steinmetz, Karl Friedrich von (1796-1877) - Letter to Mrs. Mayer van den Bergh. Posen (Poznań), 12th December 1870. Stamped envel. conserved.
