Sm. oblong 4to: [31] ff., drawings and preparatory studies in sepia ink, pencil, some with brown wash, most monogrammed "CDA" and dated, some captioned in Italian (some ff. detached, foxing on some ff., some margins frayed).

Contemp. half green shagreen, black paper on covers, front cover gilt titled "Album", flat spine (rubbed, spine missing).

Interesting list with the drawing titles at the end: Francesca da Rimini, "La Compagnia della calza" in Venice, the "Ponte dei Pugni", "Protestants persécutés après l'édit de Nantes" (with marginalia by Dell'Acqua on the Edict of Nantes), "Départ de croisés", "Battaglia navale", "Il Castello d'amore a Treviso", etc. Also with studies of women and men, costumes, etc.
