Important collection of legal and historical documents concerning the Duchy of Loon/Loos (present-day provinces of Limburg and Liège), collected by the Augustine historian Mantelius (Hasselt, 1599-1676). A number of the published documents are now lost. In the last part a description of some towns and villages in Limburg ("Borcht-Loon", "Hasseletum", "Wust-Herck", "Belisia", "Maseca", "Brea", "Beringia", "Stockemium", "Pera", "Hamontium"). Title printed in red and black.
