Beschrijving lot
1 f. (41 x 67 cm), on vellum, in Latin, nicely gilt painted coat of arms (10 x 8,5 cm), expertly calligraphed, the name of Charles V is enhanced in gold, with a lace (sm. remains of seal, sm. soiling).
Arno(u)ld de Zomberghe was captain of Rupelmonde, archer of the bodyguard for Charles V and provost for Mary of Hungary. He married Jeanne Bousied and later their daughter Marie married Philippe de Baudequin, sommelier of Charles V.
