Cont. marbled calf, covers decorated with a gilt roll-stamp with 4 tools at the inside angles, flat spine with the same decorations in gilt, a.e.g. (partly rubbed, light scratches, corners heavily bumped, front flyleaf lacking).

Nice manuscript illustrated by Francesco Tunis, with a black wash drawing figuring the Christ on Cross, mounted on the first leaf and with 2 engraved portraits of Mary (in the center of a page) and Joseph, dated 1803. Furthermore with a head- and tailpieces also engraved. The title-page is written in black pen and the rest of the text in brown ink. Copy entirely ruled. Nothing is known about Francesco Tunis except that he drew a "Veduta del passo della barea al villaggio di Podogora, del palazzo conti Attems, ed il Monte Calvario presso Gorizia" (1837) and that an archivist in Gorizia has the same name.
