Only complete edition of a long (ca. 4200 ll.) Neo-Latin epic poem on Louis XIII. Abraham Ravaud (1600-1646), called "Remy" after his native village in the Beauvaisis, tells of the political problems in France in those years: the conflict between the King and his mother Marie de Medicis, the rise of Richelieu, and the struggles and battles with the Huguenots.
