Contemp. Dutch green diced leather, covers with gilt frame and gilt flower corner pieces, gilt name "C. Colins" on front covers, richly flowery orn. spines with 5 raised bands and gilt title and vol. n., gilt sides & inside dentelles, a.e.g. (some light traces of use). Very good copy in a fine binding.

Standard work on the history of Mechelen and its churches. Very interesting are the hundreds of inscriptions on tombstones, furniture, bells, etc.
