Memorial volume for the festivities around St Hubertus (656-727), 1st bishop of Liège. His death in "Vura Ducum" was commemorated in Tervuren (Brabant) in 1730. Historians are now inclined to identify "Vura Ducum" with ’s-Gravenvoeren in the Voerstreek (Fourons), much closer to Liège. This is a documented biography (or rather hagiography) by the Dominican Willemaers (1680-1736), also containing many Latin chronograms and verses on the saint. Engr. front. by J.B. Berterham.
