Folio (48 x 40,5 cm), completed in French by hand (toned, sm. tears on margins, some spotting, Dutch ms. annot. on the back).
Confronted with financial difficulties due to their involvement in the Franco-Dutch War, the rulers of the Spanish Low Countries decided in April 1676 to sell the income linked to some seigniorial cens ("keuren") of the city and land of Mechelen. Ill. with the coat of arms of Charles II of Spain.
