Beschrijving lot
Drawing, pen and black ink, grey, brown and white wash, 21 x 31,5 cm, laid paper, signed and dated "Pierre Nicolet 1763" (some sl. damp stains at edges, not affecting the image).
Under passe-partout, under gilt frame (not studied outside frame).
Lovely trompe l'oeil design for a sculpted cartouche by the French painter and sculptor Pierre Nicolet (act. 1750-1770).
