2 drawings, graphite, 64 x 100 cm, carbon paper, unsigned (some creases and sl. tears near paper edges, larger tear at left edge of exterior view; large horiz. fold at interior view).
An interior and exterior elevation of a large museum building in Beaux-Art style, popular during the Belle Époque. A sign above the central entrance reads "Museo Historico". The overall design and lay-out of the building is a variation on the Petit Palais in Paris, designed by Charles Girault (1851-1932) for the occasion of the 1900 World Exhibition. Also similar to the Paris building, the interior section of the museum shows a use of iron and glas-in-lead roof construction in combination with the elegant neo-baroque features.
