Cont. gold tooled brown morocco (sl. rubbed and warping, gilding fading), flat spine (sm. def. at head), 1 metal clasp and catching, decorative endpapers. Very good copy.

Extremely rare (unrecorded?) Plantinian Office of the Holy Virgin, dating probably from the year 1635: after 21 December 1634 (Decree of Urbanus VIII) and 1636 ("Tabella temporaria" for the years 1636-1657). Printed in very small type and ill. with 14 full-page plates and 12 small engravings for the calendar. Entirely printed in red and black. Woodcut mark at the end.
