Away from the world of politics Churchill was also an avid painter, which he saw as a refuge from the stress of his job. He is seen here at his easel painting a Moroccan landscape during a stay at the "La Mamounia" hotel in Marrakesh. With later label on frame indicating the photographer's name: "Bertrand".
