1. Hubbard, Elbert - Little journeys to the homes of great musicians: Richard Wagner. East Aurora, New York, printed by the Roycrofters at their shop, (January) 1901. 8vo. Publ. limp light brown leather, darker leather labels with title on front cover, brown silk pastedowns. Uncut copy. Illustrated with Wagner's portrait as frontispiece, title within a large floral border, border on left side of p. 1 and initials, designed by Roycroft artists and all hand-coloured. Some parts printed in red. Printer's mark on last leaf. One of 12 vol. devoted to various musicians. In 1895, Hubbard founded the community of "Roycroft", a reformist community of craft workers and artists, part of the Arts and Crafts movement in the USA. - 2. Jones, Thomas Samuel - Sonnets of the new world. Portland Maine, the Mosher Press, (June) 1930. 12mo. Publ. cardboard, front cover red lettered. Edition limited to 500 unnumbered copies on Van Gelder (signed by the author). First edition. Printed in black with initials and the mark of the Mosher Press in red. - 3. Spicer, Jack - A book of music. San Francisco, White Rabbit Press (printed by R. & G. Mackintosh "from a typescript made available by Peter Howard", 1969. 8vo. Half red shagreen, coloured paper on boards, gilt lettered flat spine, wrappers pres. (sl. faded). Slipcase. First edition, 1st state with white monogram and blind-stamped author's name on title. Edition limited to 1800 unnumbered copies. Printed in red & black.
