Publ. limp light brown leather, darker leather labels with title on front cover, brown silk pastedowns. Uncut copy. Illustrated with Wagner's portrait as frontispiece, title within a large floral border, border on left side of p. 1 and initials, designed by Roycroft artists and all hand-coloured. Some parts printed in red. Printer's mark on last leaf. One of 12 vol. devoted to various musicians. In 1895, Hubbard founded the community of "Roycroft", a reformist community of craft workers and artists, part of the Arts and Crafts movement in the USA. - 2.
