Illustrated by Lucien Pissarro with a frontispiece "Girl and cow" within a floral border, same border on facing page and some initials. The borders and initials were wood-engraved by Esther Pissarro. Eragny's mark on last leaf. Lucien at first asked his father Camille to create a frontispiece for this work but he refused. Printed in Vale type. Edition limited to 226 unnumbered copies on Arnold's unbleached paper, of which 200 were for sale.
