The Tern Press in Shropshire was established by N. and M. Parry in 1974. They often made interesting and unusual choices of text. "Although one must admire the Parry's energy and devotion, there is a "handcrafted" air about some features of their production - uneven presswork and a number of disappointing bindings - that prevents it from being completely successful" (Cave).
