7 etchings, 20,5 x 27,7 cm, laid paper with watermark (gothic B, Briquet 8087), dated in the plate "1577" (some with trimmed margins, some stains).

From series 5, 7 and 8 of Hogenberg's depictions of the Revolt against the Spanish Catholic rulers of the Low Countries. With representations of the Spanish Fury in front of Antwerp's city hall, the Spanish troops leaving the Antwerp Citadel, the Spanish troops leaving Antwerp, the Entry of Duke Matthias into Antwerp, the Duke of Parma looting the countryside and a map of Antwerp. With German lettertext in lower margin. 4 sheets have contemp. Dutch ms. text in pen and brown ink, commenting on the events.
