Albumen prints, 15,3 x 20,5 cm or 24,2 x 29,2 cm, mounted on cardboard (some spotting on the mounts, some on the photos). Not signed.
2 photographs, ca. 1872, of the southern and southeastern side of St Mary's Abbey, Melrose, a partly ruined monastery of the Cistercian order in Melrose, Roxburghshire, in the Scottish Borders. Another photograph showing York Cathedral, also known as York Minister, one of the largest of its kind in northern Europe.
