Rare Liège edition of the first French translation, by Joseph-Pierre Frenais (1st ed.: Amsterdam, 1769) of this account of the journey made by the author in 1765 ("A sentimental journey through France and Italy", London, 1768), narrating his love affairs; it is considered an epilogue to his famous novel "Tristram Shandy".
