Old gilt-stamped maroon morocco (rubbed), covers with large central ornament within orn. border (gilt sl. rubbed), more recently gilt orn. flat spine (front joint split), all edges gilt and gauffered. Good copy.

Rare early survey of feasts of the Virgin and saints throughout (only the first 6 months of) the year, written by the Austrian Jesuit Brunner (1589-1650), 1st publ. 1623. Engr. ill.: front. and 284 nice half-page oval engr.: 6 for the Festa Mobilia and 48 for each of the first 6 months of the year (44 for March); each engr. with the name of the Saint of the day and a scene from his life. The second part was printed in the same year.
