First edition. Narrative of the Battle of Seneffe which took place during the Franco-Dutch War (1672-1678) near Seneffe in present-day Belgium. On the one hand there was the French army commanded by Louis II de Bourbon, Prince de Condé and on the other hand a combined Dutch-Imperial-Spanish force led by William of Orange. Both sides suffered enormous losses and the victory of the French had little impact on the outcome of the war in the Low Countries. Engr. title vign. by Bleijswijck. Title in red & black.
