Drawings, 3 aquarelles with traces of graphite, 34 x 23,4 cm (visible part), laid paper, with handwritten calligraphic titles at upper edge, unsigned (sl. foxed).
Under passe-partout, under gilt frame.
Magnificent drawings by the famous bird painter abbé Antoine Soudry (ca. 1750-1800), showing a falcon, a royal eagle and a gyrfalcon. Like most bird drawings by Soudry, these are unsigned. They have the finesse, style and calligraphic handwriting of other attributed drawings by the French draughtsman.
Joined: Anonymous - A honey-buzzard. Aquarelle, 33 x 23 cm, laid paper, with handwritten title on lower edge. Under gilt frame.
