Description du lot

1. 110 photos, various sizes (smallest 5,5 x 8,8 cm, largest 21 x 27,5 cm), stuck on paper, some with ms. caption below the image, some with caption and photographer's name on the image. Kept in an album 4to oblong, half leather with corners (corners rubbed), cloth covers with gilt title "Nos voyages", flat spine (somewhat rubbed, def. on head). Among the images: Switzerland: 14 photos of the mountains (canyons, a mountain hike, glaciers, tunnels) and 2 of Lugano. Italy: 2 of Bellagio (villa and panorama), 2 of Milan (the cathedral and panorama), 6 of Venice (St Mark's Basilica, a gondola, waterfront views), 2 of Verona (the arena, the tomb of Juliet). Luxembourg (province and country): 6 photos (Mulerthal, Vianden, Luxembourg). Wallonia: 9 photos (Bouillon, La Roche, Yvoir). Furthermore photos from Aachen, London, Lyon, Geneva, Avignon, Cannes, Nice (mainly by "ND Phot." being the Parisian publishing house of the brother photographers Étienne (1832–1918) and Louis-Antonin Neurdein (1846–1914) founded in Paris ca. 1885).
2. 49 photos, 21,2 x 27,5 cm, stuck on paper, some with caption and photographer's name on the image. Kept in an album 4to oblong, red cloth. Among the images: the independent city-state Monaco, Italy (San Remo, Genoa), Switzerland (Viamala, Pontresina, Roseg Glacier and Morteratsch Glacier, the Bernina Pass, St. Moritz, Maloja Pass), France (Saint-Malo, Dinan, Paramé). Among the photographer's names: the brothers Neurdein; "C.N. & Co" being Carl Frederick Musans Norman, most active between the 1860s and 1890; Giorgio Sommer, active from 1857 to 1888 and Edition Photoglob.
