Contemp. gold-tooled vellum (sl. soiled), both covers with large central gilt arms of Amsterdam within double gilt ruled armorial border with gilt armorial corner pieces, gilt spine with 6 raised bands and arms in each panel, green ties. Nice example of a prize-binding.

Major Greek-Latin ed. by the German scholar J.C. Wolff (1683-1739) of the letters of the Greek philosopher Libanius Sophista (4th c.). "1545 letters have been preserved, more letters than those of Cicero.
