Very rare second edition (1st 1571) of the French translation by F. de Belleforest of the misogynist work "Il Corbaccio" by Boccaccio (1313-1375), written in 1354 and first printed Florence 1487. Another French trsl. by de Premont (Paris, 1698 & Amst., 1702) exists under the title "Le songe de Boccace". Title within elaborate woodcut border. Ref.
