Can be attributed to Prudhomme (1752-1830) as scientific editor of this compilation relating journeys along the Orinoco, Dutch trading posts, French Guiana: fauna, flora, local customs, geography, a history of colonisation there and "ce qu'il faut faire pour sy établir avantageusement" (how to establish a settlement to gain best advantage). With a French-Galibi dictionary pp. 371-400 and the author's printed signature certifying that this ed. is not counterfeit. Ref. Sabin 66412.
