First edition of this nice work, with engraved illustrations: frontisp. after Desrais, frontisp. with the portrait of the king after Favane, both engr. by Patas, equestrial portrait of Condé by Moette after Godefroy, 2 headpieces, 2 ornamental initials, 2 tailpieces and 40 folding or double-page plates with sm. hand-col. details (borders and position of troops): 4 maps (Hollande, Haut & Bas Rhin, Franche-Comté, Pays-Bas catholiques) and 36 "cartes topographiques des camps, plans de siéges & batailles" (numbered 1-32, with 10 bis, 19 bis, 19 ter and one unnumb. pl. "Fort et château de Navagne dans le duché de Limbourg"). Enriched with a map of the "Flandre françoise". Placed in chronological order in order to follow the army of Condé from May to October 1674 in the Hainaut province (Tournai, Leuze, Lens, Charleroi, Mons..., Seneffe, Quiévrain, Perwelz...), Limburg (Argenteau) and Flanders (Audenarde).
