Folio: [12]-451-[24, 1 bl.] pp. (toned, some spotting and marg. dampstaining).
19th-c. half vellum, marbled paper on covers, spine on 6 raised bands (sl. rubbed, joints starting to split, corners bumped). Good copy.
1st ed. of an important Renaissance history of Persia from Antiquity till 1581 by the Protestant Italian scholar Pietro Bizzarri (1525-1586). On pp. 449-451 a list of Persian and Ottoman rulers.
