Description du lot
Etching, 26,0 x 21,2 cm, wove paper, inscription "Pietro Testa Inv. e fece" (few sm. light stains, few marg. spots).
Later impression.
Rare etching by Claude Vignon (1593-1670), who only made 27 prints. 2nd state with the original signature and date erased, and with an attribution to Pietro Testa. Vignon's preparatory drawing is in Paris (Louvre, inv. 22196).
