4to oblong: [8]-517-[11] pp. (some marg. staining, wormtrack near gutter in quires *-K, 5 maps partly handcoloured).
Old vellum, spine on 4 raised bands titled in ink (sl. soiled, front joint starting to split, corners bumped). Good copy.
First Latin oblong edition, same text as the 1613 Latin ed. by Blaeu of the "Descrittione". Engr. ills: printer's mark on title, armorial pl. of the 17 Provinces on opposite of p.1 and 106 maps and views (variant ed. of Guicc. Illustratus nr. 14). Without the map of the county of Namur, which is often a blank page. In our copy, the view of the city of Namur is printed twice. Ref. Guicc. Illustr. 14, p. 66. - STCN. Prov.
