Contemp. calf, blind-st. spines with raised bands, sp. edges (corners rubbed, joints rubbed). Good copy.

Second ed. (1st French 1707, 1st Dutch 1676) of the French translation of the voyage of the Dutch surgeon Schouten (1638-1704) with the fleet of the Dutch East India Company. Ill. with 2 front., an engr. portrait and 10 full-page pl. showing the fleet, harbours, fauna and flora. Titles in red & black.
