Old vellum, spine with raised bands and morocco label, red sp. edges (sm. def. at front cover, corners sl. bumped).

Four Roman treatises on military science, edited by G. Stewechius (1557-1588). Woodcut mark on title and part title. Some 30 ill. of battle arrays. Published at Leiden, but one of copies with an Antwerp imprint.
