2 vol., 12mo: [78-2 bl. incl. engr. title]-6-432-[12], [4 incl. engr. title]-433/1008-[11-1 bl.-3-1 bl.] pp.; 65 pl. (very few spots, Tt4 bound before Tt3 in register vol. 1).

Contemp. polished calf, gilt-orn. spines with raised bands, red edges (joints starting to split, heads and tails damaged, corners bumped).

Dutch translation of Guicciardini's "Descrittione". Complete with 2 typographical, 2 engr. titles and all engr. plates, including the often missing pl. 54 (Maarsseveen) and the city hall of Amsterdam. These two volumes depict the most important towns of the Southern and Northern Netherlands, incl. Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bruges, Delft, Dunkirk, Ghent, Leiden, Lille, Middelburg, Ostend, Rotterdam, Tournai and many others.
