Oriented to the East, this map depicts the Scheldt from Antwerp to Bergen-op-Zoom at the time of the Eighty Year's War (1566-1648). With explanation in upper left corner. From the 1667 "Grand Atlas" by Blaeu (French text on verso, leaf N, pagination 33-34).
