Large woodcut arms on title and part-title. General title printed in red and black. Text printed within ruled borders.

Prov. Collège d’Harcourt (Paris) prize binding with its gilt arms on covers and the initial "H" stamped 6 times on spine. With the prize awarded 27 July 1684 to Joseph-Omer Joly de Fleury (later "avocat-général au Parlement") and signed by canon Jean Le François, rector of Paris University. - Old name on title.
