Latin manuscript on vellum, c. 20 x 13,5 cm, 4 ff., expertly written in italic script within a double ruled border, incipit and names in gold.
Richly gold-tooled crimson leather, covers with rectangular ornamental frames with large corner and side pieces and very large central ecclesiastical coat of arms. Well preserved.
Typical specimen of Renaissance calligraphy. The citizenship of Narni (Latin: Narnia), a small town in Umbria (near the geographical centre of Italy), was granted on 22 December 1609 to Fabrizio Verospi “referendarius, & contradictarum auditor” of Pope Paul V.
