Very interesting map of the forests of Cochinchina, a historical region encompassing the southern third of Vietnam with Saigon as capital. It was a French colony from 1862 to 1954. From the border of Cambodia and Annam to the Chinese sea with south the Isles Poulo Condore and west "Ile de Phu-Quoc". It shows i.a.: "Forêts de Palétuviers", "Forêts de Tram", bamboo plantations, swamps, hills etc. With indication of the chief places of the provinces i. a. Saigon, Cholon, Tan-An, Bien-Hoa, My-Tho, Vinh Long, Chau-Doc, Rachgia, Bacleiu, etc.
